Membership
Membership in the National Association of Intergovernmental Affairs Professionals is designed for professionals who manage relationships between local government and other levels of government.
Professional membership will be open to employees of local governments and local public entities whose responsibilities include intergovernmental affairs, legislative relations and advocacy, federal or state government relations, or regional governmental coordination.
Eligible employers include counties, municipalities, regional governmental bodies, school districts, special districts, and public authorities.
Your responsibilities determine eligibility. You do not need a particular title or a position devoted exclusively to intergovernmental affairs.
